I hate Indian idol for having Prashant perform as a Sepoy in the show. Wasn’t there anything better that he could do in the show. So what if he is a sepoy?….i don’t think indian idol should have misutilized his background and made it a highlight in July 19th Rubaroo..there are lots of other contestants in the show and they all do something for life…but how come they arenot made fun of?? Indian idol should be wise and consider it’s global audience who value this show so much and watch it in the US, UK, Dubai, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan etc and try not to hurt the sentiments of the people from all these parts of the world who are equal viewers of this show.
And, if my facts are right….. I hate Amit Paul for brainwashing Prashant in smoking so that he will loose his voice. Amit Paul will be pelted with rotten tomatoes and eggs in the streets of kathmandu.
Prashant please come back to your being and sing good. We are all waiting to hear you sing.

i fully agree with these lots..prashant is a very good singer and i know he can do good..and yh people are thinking that ohh prashant is from different country..and them lot are insulting him even though he sings so good..i liked every performance of prashant tamang.u know yh meiyang chang or watever..just because every one thinks he is cute..i dont think he sings very well than prashant..prashant RWAKS!!!

Javed Akhtar’s comments about Language and State are purely RACIST and are directly pointed towards PRASHANT TAMANG. It does not suit to a genius, such a great poet, and a scholar to make such mean comments. After all INDIAN IDOL is not held at State level. Participents from all over India and even from outside India(Harshida from UK) have taken part, in this regard it can be called as GLOBAL INDIAN IDOL. The way Mr. Akhtar is encouraging voters to choose their so called IDOL on the basis of the language, state and race, ignores the fact that India is a multi cultural, multi racial, multi-lingual country and such minorities also are Indians and play a part to make the beautiful whole India. In my view, Mr. Javed shuld say SORRY for his comments and his biased attitude towards PRASHANT.
