Deepali is too good a singer to be eliminated so soon. Now, all this Indian Idol started making no sense to me. If a female was destined to be an Indial Idol3 then its proved wrong by the people.

This is very sad Deepali is voted out To me she was the best suited as Indian Idol 3 & really spark of the show. People have done very very unfair decision.Anyways wish you luck Deepali ,I like your attitude .You faced result very positively keep it up .

Deepali was the best Singer+Performer of the past GALA, and a very study and consistent singer through out the whole competition. She most definitely didn’t deserve to be ousted this early (at the expense of Ankita?) when all the judges said she was a top-3 material.

This is what happens when something is left on the public voting, just like it does while we choose our leader(s)/government(s)

This whole concept of public voting is a real injustice to KALA and nothing but a TRP stunt.

The best way to conduct a music contest should be a panel of judges (at least 7 of them from different styles and areas of Indian Music) judging the contestants after each and every contestant with one tenth of a point (like 9.78, it happens in gymnastics/Olympics) one judge without knowing the other judge’s score until they all are released. This way, judges will act more responsibly and don’t give 10/10 just for the heck of it (like id does happen in other shows like Saregamapa) as they currently think that it wouldn’t matter because its all up to the public voting.

That’s when and only then…

1 Singers from south will be projected deep into the competitions. (Hemachandra and Karunya are the best examples of not getting overwhelming regional votes)

2. Contestants from eastern states won’t get undue pools of vote and go on to win the whole competition over much deserved and superior challengers

3. No fan following,

4. No regional or national bias,

5. No judge’s favorite

All these shows brag about themselves saying they are the platforms for these upcoming talents but the FACT is they are selling the shows not only with public voting, commercials, nonsense stories & judge fight drama but also with the guest stars by advertising and promoting their films and music which is ridiculousness at its high. The guests are not coming they love the shows or the concept or motivate the contestants but to promote their ventures. What a shame to Indian Music, if at all it is. Nothing comes close to old version of Saregamapa and may be that’s why it lost its two premium hosts, whole charm and the real & non-commercial concept purely based on SANGEET and KALA.

As for DEEPALI:
You are by far the most matured contestant of Indian Idol and always shown positive attitude with smile and good comments on top of your very consistent displays of singing abilities. Nothing to worry, keep working hard and you will get what you want.

This will be my last posting on any of these shows - no point in watching them but to boost the commerce behind the show not the talent

Iv been closely watching the contest since last couple of episode. I could not understand what the heck AMalik is doing there| It sucks dude| That smart ass is too good to b there. He talks like as if he was arguing with his kids| Stop your freaking bullshit buddy|||

I watch this show just because Prashant is there. But, show has to be professonal to be watched by more people from all over ……. If the morons are there in judge circle, what sort of result would audience expect.

It’s just that Deepali wasnot quite popular with the janta and that’s why she didn’t get enough votes and was evicted. I do agree that she is a good singer. However, Chang, Amit Paul, Emon and Prashant are also good singers…
now its time for the weakest link to be out…and i am not surprised that Deepali was out.
Soon, Emon might be out and the only two contestants remaining in the show would be Amit Paul and Prashant. The fate will then decide between these two. Amen!

Indian Idol - Who is having the last laugh. Off course the TV Channels, the organizers, etc. They are laughing their way to the bank just because the Indian Public chose to send an SMS for Rs.4/- or whatever amount to chose the winner. The channels must be having tie ups with mobile companies of 75:25 revenue for each and every call received.

In the case of performance Ankita is best. It is TV show so performance is also essential. If it is only singing then need not to broadcast Indian Idol in TV, there is radio for this.

First of all, thank you for having this indian idol website to keep us updated. I love the show, and i see how all the best of best singers are very dedicated to their singing. Most importantly, i thank Indian Idol to bring each and everyone of them a Chance for the contestant to get their life set. I was very happy to see that Indian Idol has more talent then the American Idol. American Idol is a joke, but I really see how all the contestant in Indian Idol are all very good singers, and unique in their own way.
I cry every eposide of Indian Idol, because i grew closer to each contestant.

Please take this positive judges, but JUDGES HAVE their own show of WAR between them. You are giving so much negative vibe to those contestant who are there to WIN. And when one is talking, the other one is talking. I loved when UDIT NARAYANG said “Kya Javed aktar aur Anu Malik hee Judges hai, aur sab yahan Kanah Kaney Aaya hai kya”True. Just keep your opinion short and professional. Don’t over react on each other’s word. Again, this is suppose to be a positive feed back.

By the way, I am very shocked and upset about Depali leaving. i really think you all should ask her to come back because this girl’s got everything going. I don’t know why you are keeping chang??????He seems to be a good guy but com’on bad singer..yeah it is unique a Chinese man can Sing in Hindi, but to be honest he is not a good singer to be in Indian Idol this long.
